Film Database

The database f_films: female filmworkers in europe
is a cooperation of the

• European Coordination of Film Festivals |
  Working Group Women and Film and
   
• Deutsches Filminstitut – DIF

The Working Group Women and Film and the
Deutsches Filminstitut – DIF have joined forces

• to create a film database for the archiving and presentation of work by women in the world of film production and
• to make this database available via internet.

The most important partners of this database are the Women’s Film Festivals in Europe – who are supporting the database with the films of their recent festival – what means a high value of research and knowledge. The Deutsches Filminstitut – DIF supports this project with own archive information and is responsible for the data transfer of the incoming film titles.
